Bolbena: stupidly small.

You never knew? Bolbenas are the smallest species of mantis in existence. L1's are smaller than Drosophila melanogaster. Rebecca had them a few weeks ago. I think they're in culture in Europe

 
Just one species that is prob better to avoid to raise being that small but its up to the keeper!

 
A small species with big care requirements. I couldn't imagine having these things running around everywhere. Then again I couldn't imagine keeping such a small species in the first place

Yeah these are not my pics. I found them online. I wasn't trying to pass those off as my own. I am going to source the images for now on

Maybe I'll be able to sell my lacewing larvae to you guys for them. ;) I'm going to have a lot of them.

Yeah Andrew (ABuggin) kept them for a few generations a couple of years ago.

 
well I thought the glass mantis was small!! (mine died at molt to sub or adult...too dang small to say)

gotta like the bigger brutes in moderation.
