Breeding orchids

I got my orchids to mate a few days ago they went for it for 26 hours theres know ooth yet but

should i mate her with a second male before or after a few ooths

she is about 7 weeks adult & so is he & both are well fed

Said this a million times: when they mate has no bearing on when she lays her ooth. You want to go off of when she became adult because they will lay ooths whether mated or not. I normally remate after she lays a few ooths even though it probably isn't necessary.

just a update she laid a 2 1/2" ooth on the 20th.04 so it took 6 weeks
