My male T. Sinensis is preparing for his molt to L5, so I wanted to be informed before his molt to adult. First off, I was wondering how long after his final molt I should wait before breeding him. Second, how long can I expect him to live post-molt and post-mate? Third, when I get his mate, should I set up her habitat and let her get comfortable in it or should I mate them in his habitat? I just want to make sure he mates without issue. Obviously, any other advice is welcome and appreciated!

Some people say to wait 3 weeks, my guy was ready within the first week. I'd wait 1-2 weeks. They live a few months after reaching adulthood -- at least my guy did (although those who are injured during mating won't live as long of course). I'd mate them in whichever habitat has more room, just so he can escape once he's finished and she won't be able to catch him. Make sure there are plenty of hiding spots. When the female is ready, she will open up her reproductive organs (releasing the pheramones). And the male will move his abdomen from side to side.
