So my female budwing molted last night perfectly (or so i thought), When I had a good look at her this morning I noticed on 1 of her tiny wings there are large green 'sacks', I assume they are collections of blood but I can't be sure.

It's only on 1 wing, the sack is irregularly shaped, is maluable and she doesn't even flinch or seem to notice when I touch it or lift it to get a better look.

I'll try and get a good picture but in the meantime, anyone know what's causing it?

Yeah, I didn't think it was life threatening or anything since it's just her wing, do you think it will eventually just dissipate/pop/drain by itself?

I heard about this with Peruvian shields. One of them with this condition died the other survived.

She doesn't appear to be in any distress, she is moving around just as quick as she was before the moult, she drank and threat posed some prey she didn't want to eat.

I don't think she even knows it's there to be honest lol

I've been keeping a close eye and it is already starting to be reabsorbed, it's much less swollen and becoming more translucent (rather than the bright green). If the pace keeps up, I'd say 2 or 3 more days and it'll be completely normal.
