Update on the budwings I received from angelofdeathzz. They have molted once in my care, I guess L2 now?

Update on the mystery nymphs ("ghosts" if you've been following my story), they are L2/L3, hard to keep track.

Anyways, still haven't heard a word from the breeder...I'll try to get some ghosts early next month once I've moved into my new place. Very interested in photographing ghosts (the ghost nymphs I ordered from hibiscusmile have all passed away due to inexperience/negligence, unfortunately).

Thanks Nick! Do I need to provide individual enclosures for each or a larger communal one? And what's an economy option for individual enclosures.

Nice! But keep in mind Budwings need to be separated around L3 or so to avoid cannibalism. :)

Your "mystery nymph" looks to be a Creobroter sp. flower mantis. ;) I agree, many flower mantis ooths look VERY similar to ghost ooths. But your hatchling definitely looks like a Creo. I still think budwing nymphs are SCARY.

32oz deli cups should work great all the way to adult after L3 and there cheap, they can NOT be kept together, they get VERY aggressive with each other and their prey. They strike harder than any other mantis I've ever seen but mine are gentle to me and like to be held, love the way the adults stare at you with those big eye's.

Around L5 or so you'll notice some are much smaller, those are the males... ;)

And yes their L2 now.
