Waxworms are smaller I think. Butters are easier to pick up, waxs are smooth. I need tweezers for them.

The mantis seem to love them, but u have to offer with forceps or tweezers, they may move, but waxworms are kept out of fridge, butters in and I don't have the time to see how much they move when put in with them, so I use those to help move it along. I have given them super worms lately and none are taking them unless I leave them in the housing, then when I go back later, they are gone. yum

They do, but google it and see, I don't know anymore than that they do something to them so they wont mature.... or so they say .
some larval feeders are treated with hormones, mostly pet store and fishing tackle(bait). I always ask if they're treated. Reptile store feeders are usually clean, who wants to feed treated feeders to expensive reptiles?
