first pics were with aperature setting on camera
differences between stagmomantis californica and limbata
first off we know californica are dark at L1 and limbata are green
at L2 there are also differences
note how limbata has little contrast on the abdomen and thorax with little reticulation on the legs and claws
quite the contrary with L2 californica
so which of the 2 is this?:
the next 5 photos were taken with manual setting
here is an L3 californica (femme i think)
note the dark spot inside the claw
LIMBATA LACK THIS!!!
also, L2 oxyopsis gracilis, able to eat hf
ENJOY
