I asked if you can determine what species are ooth (the owner claims to have come from Africa).

So, in Africa, do they go on ooth expeditions and just collect anything they can find??? Then sell just saying they are "from Africa"??? Why would you buy anything you didn't know what it was??? Just a few questions.

But from info given, they could be just about anything. Your "guess" is as good as mine.

the 3 larger ones look like sphrodromantis lineola now idea what the two smashed up ooths are

Could be S. lineola, but there are a lot of Sphodromantis spp in Africa! Best to wait until the nymphs (if any) are close to adulthood before trying to guess the species.
