Here's a wild-caught mantis from southern California. It used to be completely green before it molted into an adult. Does anyone know what species this is?

Probably Stagmomantis limbata due to the location.

I'm pretty sure that's a Carolina Mantid. It's the same kind I have.
It's a Stagmomantis limbata(Bordered Mantis), not Carolina. I'm 100% sure. Limbatas are very common in Southern Cal. A few of my limbatas are that brown color and look exactly the same as the pic. Limbatas are usually green but can come in brown.
