I have too many Tenodera Sinensis then I need and I should let some go into the garden. I don't have a lot of containers right now, but I'd like to keep at least two (a male and female) to breed. I've never bred before and would like to try it out, see if it's for me or not. So I'm starting with a basic species. Problem is, I don't know if it's possible to determine sex on L1s? Is it?

I say you keep at least 40. I heard this species has a high fatality rate @ L1 so just keeping 2 would be a bit sketchy.

Unless u have loads off ffs with them they'll snack on each other ;) and if u have macro lenses or magnifying lenses and u can see each segment, its possible...

Keep them all together and feed them well. There most likely will be some cannibalism, but it is easier to separate them when there are less of them. Just keep an eye on the numbers. You could separate them into smaller groups as well, so it's not sooooo many cups.

Thanks for the answers. Yeah I have like 2 groups now. Some managed to escape so I gathered them up and gave them their freedom outside on the strawberry bush. I think I'm gonna transfer them all into a snake tank later.
