Hi All,

Assuming the first lady doesn't eat him, can a male then go mate with another female? Sounds like a dumb question, I know, but you never know unless you ask.

The only dumb or stupid question is one that is not asked, Don't put yourself down when you are learning something new! My European has had a busy week, He is onto his forth female, so my answer would be yes, males seem to be universal in this respect!

With most species it's not hard to get four or five females to mate with one male over a few weeks or so. Of course much higher ratios are possible.

LOL! I was just waiting for you to say that!

Thanks guys,

Looks like my male is going to benefit from the death of the other male. He's going to be quite the stud-biscuit when they're all mature!
