Carolina Mantis (Stagmomantis carolina)

I used to have this female. I kept her outside. She ran away two time. I found her on our front porch! And then she ran away again when it was cold. I lost her. When I mist my mantids with water it seems to make them more clear when I take a picture of them.

The ootheca she laid.

She did not lay the one on the right.

I could not make her do a threat pose. So I lifted her wings to show the yellow.

I found many pictures of Stagmomantis californicus. You meant Stagmomantis californica. Google search did not correct it.

Keep in mind I only started with 8 at L1
