Caught a moth

Caught a moth and fed to my unknown mantis nymph, so cool the stalking waiting and then bam its caught he's now enjoying his dinner

now to find another for the giant asian.

Another question if I am to catch moths what is the best way to keep them alive?

I just go out and find moths when ever I want to feed my guys. They are pretty easy to find around dusk if you have a light on. I tend to give multiple moths to the mantis if the moths are a smaller species or if it's big mantis lol.

Moths are probably my favorite mantis food. I love watching them track them, catch them, and then eat them...oh and pull their wings off and throw them to the ground haha!

It's a mystery nymph that Rebecca (mantisplace) sent when I got my giant asian, so till it gets bigger I won't know what it is....

Yea I seen the wings get pulled off the moth and discarded,btw he's still munching been at it for about an hour now

i think i might go get my guys some moths they need a change up from crickets.

Nothing excites a mantis more than a fluttering moth or butterfly.
