I made this video of my mantis Adrian eating a cockroach I fed her and uploaded it to YouTube so I could show my parents. I snapped this picture of her shamelessly admiring her handiwork and found it hilarious. Thought you guys might like it.

Haha, not going to disagree with you there. I'm open to any advice on how not to give into those big pleading eyes :innocent: .

As for her name, I chose Adrian because of Adrian Monk from the t.v. show (get it? monks? praying?) and because it is fairly androgynous. I could have sworn she was a male until she started laying ooths. :huh:

Always give to the Tenodera sinensis female, or you may end up sacrificing some of your own flesh when you try to handle them. :helpsmilie: They are some of the hungriest mantids!

I like the name because it is like mine.
