Changing email addresses but not working

I'm trying to change my email to one of my gmail accounts when I heard of the spamming coming from the yahoo and hotmail... however, it keeps saying my gmail account is banned.

Have the adminstrators banned all emails? :S Or is it just some kind of glitch? In a previous forum I saw that a gmail account worked for one person when yahoo and hotmail didn't. Currently my email is under yahoo domain.

yahoo.com doesnt work, hotmail.com doesnt work, "@googlemail.com" does work but not sure about "gmail.com". I think newer Gmail users have "@googlemail.com" rather than "@gmail.com" addresses?

I dont see the point in this, its more likely to affect regular forum members than the spam bots which don't seem to even enter an email in their profile.

I want to change my email to my @gmail.com address. My current is a @yahoo.

Maybe it's just a glitch? :|

Gmail accounts are favorites of spammers therefore they're blocked. In the future PM me on these types of issues.
