The photographer used a light box and it really makes a big difference in detail. I think some contrast adjustments were also made. I can't wait to have the rest of my collection photographed.

Think I should ask a friend to take good pics of my collection too. He has a good camera, or I will borrow it and do it myself I will ask when my new arrivals are home too.

You can make a simple light box out of white cloth and a cardboard box. The tricky part was keeping her on the stick while putting my hand into the brightly lit box. ?

Since they're only with us for such a short time, they all deserve at least one photo session. ?

That’s a beautiful photo, and she’s real cute. I agree that all mantids have enough of their own glory to deserve their own photo shoots.

I agree on that, too bad the mantids have very short lives. I want a photoshoot of them too. I want nice close up pics of them.
