These little guys really do love honey! But I've noticed that some seem to get their fill much more quickly than others. Some hang on and guzzle it, while others just look annoyed at their legs getting sticky.

is it okay to feed your mantis honey daily? i still feed them crickets aswel obviously ha :)
I really don't know why people do it but it won't hurt I guess. At a small size I wouldn't as they could get trapped in it.

Haha - it must be cool for you to get to see people posting pictures of your mantids' offspring!
You know... actually it is cool! ;) That little guy/gal you posted the pic of above is the granddaughter/grandson of "Ms. Weird Eyes," whom was locally wild caught and luckily already fertile when I got her (as I had no luck finding her a mate).

I really don't know if it would be (or how much of it would be) beneficial or detrimental. But since honey doesn't constitute the mantids "normal" carnivorous diet in the wild, I would tend to think of it as only a supplement and not daily fare.
