Sorry about title, I meant T. sinensis mantis problem.Last year my T. sinensis mantis was on L3, a perfect molt except her old head molt remained and stuck to her head! The mandibles and jaws could get trough so it could eat, and so I fed her every day, yet five days later she ate less and less until she died in two days. What made her die? What could I have done to get the molt off, even though I failed in so many attempts when the molt was still fresh? Please tell me so I can know what to do in future.

Bad molts are only prevented through proper hydration and molting surfaces. There is no way to fix them after they have gone bad. One ounce of prevention is worth far more than a pound of cure.

Nothing helps a bad molt, even when we help, at least for me it does not. They have to have the strength to come out of it, like a tree has to be strong enough to bend. Just try to have it more humid next time.
