Okay, so one of the chinese ooths that I bought from Ghozt hatched today. I'm really excited for the fact that I haven't dealt with this species since fourth grade :) And I must say, compared to the nymphs of Litanuetria minor, they're giants.

well the heterochaeta nymphs are bigger then the chinese nymphs and what you plan on doing with all those nymphs as I dont think they would survive up to winter but dont know about the weather patterns in Nevada!

They definitely wouldn't survive the winter here. But I had no intention on releasing them. I'm actually using them for a science experiment for my independent research class. It does sadden me to know that most of these are gonna drop dead for no reason. :(

Second ooth hatched today, with an even larger hatch rate. Amazing how they hatch within two days of each other, when surely they weren't laid that way.

Thanks guys.

@Laura, I love them too. They seem calmer than the other nymphs I've dealt with. And their antennae is constantly swaying.

@Massaman, I'm probably gonna eat most of them :chef: . Just kidding. Since most of them die off, I'm going to see how many make it to L2 or L3 before I determine how many (or if) I'll be selling ;)
