Hi, I have a new ooth laid by my female tenodera. I don't want it to hatch untill next spring or maybe over the winter. I live on the coast of maine, our winter temps at worst get down to -12 F. I have tried keeping things in the fridge but they have died alot of the time.

Any help is welcome! Thanks.

It can handle the cold temps....they have been known to go -40... keep it outside like in a net cube or something if you are worried....I have never diapaused t sinensis before so I dont kno much abt this specie in that respect...

Just put it outside if they occur in your area.

Even if you don't see them often there. They probably still exist. I would leave the ooth outside so it can diapause naturally. Putting them in the fridge is iffy.
