Hopefully this isn't a completely dumb questions.  If you have a clean up crew and your mantis molts will they harm the mantis in any way?  Also are fruit flies bad to have inside the habitat when they molt? I've convinced myself my new mantis is going to molt and now I'm freaking out. I think I stressed less when I gave birth to my child.  Shes still alive by the way 9 years and still going. I just don't want my mantis to die due to something I could have prevented.

First of all, no questions are dumb questions.  ;)

Secondly, the cleanup crew will never bother your mantis, molting or not. And as far as the fruit flies are concerned, a few in the habitat certainly won't  do any harm to a molting mantis, but don't leave a lot of fruit flies in the enclosure with your mantis at anytime, as it can stress them out. Hope that helps, and I hope your mantis molts soon!

You should be fine will all the things you mentioned, the only insect that can damage a molting mantis is a cricket (as they bite). :)

Thank you for the info.  I hope he molts soon too. He just doesn't seem interested in food. Hes more interested in me and hanging out on my hand.  If I try to put him back in the enclosure he just crawls out quickly and reaches for my hand. Then he just walks around or just sits and looks at me. He's just so fun to watch. I was surprised they can jump so far and quickly. He leaped out of the container and jumped onto my sleeve.
