It was feeding today and I managed to take a couple of quick pictures of some of my mantids. Not the best quality, they were just snaps on my phone under poor lighting, so they have ended up a little washed out, will have to take some better ones when i have more time.
Anyway, first is my female miomantis paykulli, I mentioned in my other post she chose to moult on the side of her container hence the wings. Hasn't stopped her appetite one bit.
another angle
one of my two males, which was meant to be her intended but that's obviously not going to happen.
Now two different Sphrodomantis sp. Blue flash, anyone know if these have a full name yet?
Like I said, colours are washed out, in the flesh the mio's are a deep biege colour and the sphrodo's are bright green with pink and turquoise highlights.
