Even when provided with twigs etc to hang from sometimes a mantid will choose to moult close to the floor, hence the slightly bent wings on my newly adult female miomantis.
Sphrodo's are GREEDY to the point where there is rarely even a scrap of food insect left anywhere after feeding.
Crickets are perfectly good as a staple food, I also give some flies for variety.
Mantids are fun pets with good little personalities. I will definitely be continuing my little collection.
