I found that a very crazy looking effect occurs after looking at this short video - check it out (full screen) then look at your mantids! Tell me if it works :p

I didn't look at my mantids afterwards, but at my walls, KISS light switch cover, and my clock all expanding and moving. Reminded me of the effects I saw "back in the day" with trips I'd taken when I really didn't go anywhere.

Oh, and thanks, Roland... now I have a headache too! :p

Yeah, I tried this too. Roland, when you get home after work, would you p.m. me and remind me to sue you for headaches and episodic memory loss? I would have done it already, but I keep on forgetting. Thanx.

You folks do not have headaches - those are only your weakest brain cells dying off! The very same ones that die off from consuming too much ale! --- remember, "survival of the fittest"

Sure, I've heard that argument before: "Get up! You're not dead ! You just think you're dead!"

Sorry. What was the question again?

After it was done, I looked away and the only thing I saw (faintly) were those designs. Is that how it's supposed to work?

it may work differently on different people. In me and some of my friends it caused pretty intense visual hallucinations of whatever you look at simultaneously expanding and contracting at the same time - like walls breathing and such - for 20 seconds or so. Did you stare only at the center point the whole length of the video?

My eyes was focused in the center even though I was paying attention to everything around it (looking at how the squares got smaller towards the center and larger outwards). When I was done, I faintly saw those designs similar like how you'd still see the sun after stairing at the sun for a bit.

If you really want to go insane and ruin yr life, you have to just concentrate on the center and nothing else! :D

Momma says a hippo would eat me up, but then,

Teacher says a hippo is a vegetarian.
