Its getting warmer every day in Illinois and I am finding the craziest looking moths in my garage. Thought I would share a pic of one I found today. It's head is on the left. The white on its wings looks metalic or mirror like. My camera is picking up the reflection of the white walls in the room making the pattern look white. I am most likely going to feed it to my Budwing. Can anyone identify this? I just wanted to make sure it wasn't some sort of endangered species or something first.

I thought the moth was stunned after shaking the jar it was in but it was faking. So when I opened it the moth got away. shucks! ! It is hiding somewhere in the room. Couldn't find it. It will pop up later I hope.

Interesting. I found one almost exactly like this and fed it to my mantis. It made a mess in the terrarium when its scales started coming off.

I havent fed a moth to my mantids yet.

I would guess they all cause a mess, wings and stuff!
