Creo eating before molt???

Well my creo p. is sub adult. Her wing buds are definetly swollen but she is still eating???

Is this normal for fairly aggressive species?

I can post pics if necessary

She will eat until she is ready to molt, nothing unusual here.

Ok. its is just that her win buds look different. They are buldging upward and are turning green

That means she's getting close to molting, but still eating means not that close.

I've had a couple Chinese mantises that literally took a meal only a couple hours before popping out of their skin. I like to trust the mantises instincts on these type of matters. They seem to know what they should do. ^_^

I've had Creos eat just before they molted too. The fat pigs that they are.

Ok, well I tried feeding him a moth from my blacklighting adventure last night but he started flicking it away so it shouldnt be long now. It wont be long now.

I suspect a molt by this upcoming Wednesday
