Creobroter nebulosa ooth!

Yay! I just felt like posting because I've finally seen one of my mantises make an ootheca!

She is an "old lady" that I got from Yen, I hope it is fertile!

She readily took a large cricket the next morning!

That is a very nice ooth! I am keeping these now and I have a couple molts to go before adult.

Yes, she made a really nice, long one! Reminds me of an earthworm, hehe. :lol: I hope it's fertile for you! Did Yen say if she was fertile when you got her; or did you mate her?

I was suprised that she laid the ooth the night I received her. She was extremely dehydrated when she came out of the box, and nibbled all over my hands until I squirted a pool of water on my palm! She chugged away... B)

Yen said she has been bred and there is a possibility of the ooth being fertile... Cross your fingers if you'd like to trade for some when they pop out!

Indeed that's a long ooth. Looks as though she was finishing up laying & then realised she had a little more to give Congrats!
