TV is shutter speed priority i think

and gripen i keep the mantis in a old meat market container with a vented lid and a paper towel on the bottom, it's all he needs or wants ;)

Agent A, what kind of camera are you using? If you told me already, I forgot... Looks like your Creobroter is posing nicely for you.

AV and TV are camera settings:

AV is aperture priority (or aperture value) I use this mode the majority of the time for wildlife photography except when doing macro work. I shoot in manual mode.

TV is shutter priority

Cannon rebel with tamron lens and a tripod

Works well, tammy, can u explain the differences between AV and TV so I know how to use them and im not just messing around with it hoping for a good pic? I know AV makes the pic brighter, but why?
