How many times do Creobroters molt? Mellisa just molted and I thought she would become an adult, but she didn't. She's L7 now. I thought mantids molt 6 times. Do male Creobroters molt 1 less time than females? Can I rear creobroters communally in a large cage full of foliage? Are they cannabalistic? And how come every other molt for Mellisa, hr color changes a little but Mr. Nervous stays hatchling color and he is L5?

dont think you can keep them together after l3-l4 as i tried to do that a while back and they began to eat one another but on the other hand i got some gambian spotted eye flower mantids together and seem they are better at being communial then the creobroter.They do tend to swat at each other or show territorial behavior!

Species are different in their molting behavior, some males like the Orchid, molt 2 times less then the girls, some like the Peacock female molt before the boys, all depends on the species in question
