Ok so I have a mantis here that is eating a cricket and something odd I never seen with the cricket, it has some black stuff in its guts.... never saw it maybe someone knows something i dont. Thank you

Did the mantis throw up black/brown fluid afterwards?

So far it looks like it hasnt, but then again.... just noticing my wife left him out now hes wondering LOL, will get back to you on that note haha

Stomach contents or the waste. Mantids eat around it and often you're left with the shell and that gut. Normal.
