Culturing Crane Flies?

Anyone have any experience with these? I like their size as feeders, and I am curious to see if they would be easier than other flies.

They are literally everywhere. I don't even see the point in bothering.

I meant during winter and such. I see them everywhere now, which makes me curious about them.

i personally dont like them, too much wings and legs, most of my mantids wont touch them.

All of my mantids love them. Not much food there, but their large area makes them easy to catch.

agreed thats why i dont like them lol too much extra space very little meat.

Great food, their long legs grt caught in my sundews and therefore trapping their whole body ...and they manage to get caught in my pitcher plants too....

I believe the larvae take 1-2 years to mature if I read correctly, so it would take a lot of patience to culture them if that were the case...
