I got a bunch of D dessicata from Kiet back in June and three of them were taking their own sweet time maturing. Most of the others had matured into males and have since passed on but two of the last three matured into females within the last month. I figured the last one was just a late developing female. Imagine my surprise when i checked a few nights ago and there was a nice big fat mature male hanging from the lid. I'm going to give him a few weeks and try my first attempt at breeding them. I know these guys are not that easy but its the first time I ever had males and female mature at the right time so I have to give it a shot.
