I need help.

I came home and my D. dessicata was alive and well.

I left and came home 3 hours later and all is not so well. He is alive but seems motionless, he moves his legs every once in a while and his mandibles are constantly moving. His grip seems lacking though... is there any speculation why? Temperature was raised a bit for the Gongulus to approximately 100 degrees... He is about 3 feet above the Gongylus cage.

I have misted him and I've been trying to feed him... I moved him to a cooler place just in case temperature "warped" him.

Anything else I can do? Is there I diagnosis... I'm very worried about this guy as he's my only male.

Thanks.

It could of been to hot from the temp change, did u mist before leaving? It could of cause a lot of humid air that maybe he was not use to and it got him, but 3' above cage, tends to think that prob couldn't happen, have u checked his cage temp up there? All these questions and really nothing now will help, just maybe info for next time.

Yeah, I don't know what happened, he gets misted everyday though. He died though this morning :( . Gotta to get another one...

######... I recently received a new male, (Thanks!), and same thing seems to be repeating...

This time, however, I did not keep him near the Gongylus cage.

This species is bugging me. The females are fine, but it's these bloody males -.-
