death of old age

yesterday my hierodula mantis died of old age. she hatched on 15.2. so she was more than 8 months old. the last two days she had difficulties with eating, and I had to feed her. And yesterday morning when she fell from the ceiling of her enclosure and could not rise anymore, I felt sorry for her and put her into the freezer. you can laugh at me, but I made her a grave beside a creek where I use to walk my dog.

strange coincidence she died the same day I received nymphs from a friend. about these I will use a different forum section.
