Does anyone here have experience with making a desert community tank? I have almost all the animals I wish to put in this tank, and a 20 gallon filled with about 3 inches of sand, leaves, and wood chunks. The species I am planning to keep in this are tiger beetles, asbolus verrucos, various blaps species, velvet ants, and (hopefully) antlion larvae. The tank is also equipped with a heat lamp.

@lilwo With beetles in particular you would get more responses on our sister forum BeetleForum.net (same owner, same forum setup, many of the same members from here, just plenty more members related to beetles) The same goes for the forum about roaches, RoachForum.com, just a COM instead of NET on that address. 
I'd be curious to hear recommendations on a community setup for that one myself.
