Diapause

When is it to late to put ooth in fridge for diapause ,I have a S.limbata ooth that has been in my reptile room for 9 days or so is it to late to now take it and put it in the fridge for a cold period?

shouldn't b, they are laid in the warm, so when it goes into the cold it wont know the diff!

Why do you want to chill the ooth? S. limbata does not require a diapause? You can chill them to put off hatching if you need to. But the ooth will hatch without the cold period.

Does the Carolina Mantid require a diapause? I found a couple of ooths and need to know what to do with them to get them to hatch :lol:
