By Discord I assume you are referring to the gaming chat app? If so that is why your post was moved out of the mantid related section as it is off-topic. Personally I've never used Discord, Mumble, or such related gaming programs - just Skype for family and business use years ago.

 
@CosbyArt got a question getting a dead leaf tommrow. Kinda freaking iut of the temp thibg. As i dont want it to suddenly die. I got a himidafier thing to messure it. Could i use my heater and blow 80 heat into the cage i am also using a small heater on the side of thr tank.

@Jessie You can if it is a slow breeze that won't bother the mantids. It would be best to aim the fan at a nearby wall so it is reflected/bounced into the cage - it will slow the breeze, be indirect flow that is more random when it enters the cage, and will help with the temperature too by the wall reflecting the heat nearby releasing heat it holds too.

I've kept Dead leaf mantids (Deroplatys lobata) without heat, just my room temp of about 72-75F without a problem. Ideally they would be kept at 79F, but anything above 72F is fine. See the caresheet here and another here in regards to heat and such.

 
I got a thermomiter. The humidity im a bit worried about. Im timing it right now did several squiets of water. I just dont want it to die as soon as i get it.
