New to using this forum, so I'm not sure if there's somewhere else I should be asking this, but do Carolina Mantids need a period of diapause in the winter? Are there any other special needs I should be aware of? I found an adult female outside and she has given me 2 ooths, though one is very much smaller. Not sure if that information is relevant.
I couldn't find a care sheet on here for this species, so if there are any recommendations on where to find that, that would be helpful too.

You don’t really have to from what I know. You will probably get a slightly better hatch and it will be in the spring when you can release any extras outside. If you were not to dispause it, then it would hatch in around 3 months while incubating. And you will have to take care of all of those nymphs as you can’t release them outside during the winter.
