Howdy all,

I am looking for a professional quality image of a male Tenodera sinensis or, better still, of a mating Tenodera pair, preferably on a natural background.

I am publishing an article on mantid cannibalism in an upcoming issue of The American Naturalist and my coauthor and I need a good image to go with the paper. We didn't have a camera when we originally did this research. Submitter would get full photo credit in the journal, but sorry, no money is given for the picture.

I will try to take some of juveniles this week but I need the picture by July 20th and I know I won't find an adult by then.

If you have a pic you'd like to donate, send it over to [email protected]. If you can, send as high quality an image as you can.

Thanks for your help!

Unfortunately I have only ever kept Tenodera from hatcling up to L5 or so. However, what I suggest you do is follow this link:

http://ttwebbase.dyndns.org/mantid/list.html?start=101

There are 5 different species of Tenodera listed near the bottom. If you explain where you are from, and ask permission to use the photo to the following email address:

[email protected]

This is Soren Materna, he posts most of the photos on there.
