My shields mated yesterday for about 12 hours. The spermatophore was visible after copulation, but I just checked and it looks like the female "dropped" it. Any suggestions for the next round?

I believe that is a normal thing if I am not mistaken, her egg should be fertilized.

Thanks guys, I feel much better now haha. On a side note it was probably one of the quickest and easiest matings I've seen. She showed no hostility and he took about 30 seconds to hop on and connect. Weird for such an aggressive species!
