Drunk bees safe?

Found some inebriated yellow jackets on a rotting apple, if my idolo eats the yellow jackets could the rotting fruit hurt her?

I don't recommended feeding yellow jackets since they tend to pick up all sorts of things from feeding on carrion.

I think the Idolos might become inebriated as well...! I'm not sure I'd be willing to risk that personally. I'm not sure how that would effect a mantid/mantis.

I don't trust bees and wasps at all... one bit my Idolos claw and wouldn't let go! They have strong mandibles.

Doesn't seem worth the risk. I would be worried the yellow jackets might be more than just inebriated but could be suffering from poison exposure too. I also don't like to gamble with stinging insects.

I don't think there would be any issue from the rotting fruit but yellow jackets may not be the best choice. I see mantids in my yard eating them but I think the risk from being stung isn't worth it.

If they're drunk, maybe you can pull the stinger out in advance.
