Dying and green stuff coming from abdomen

Hey all,

My chinese mantid recently passed on. Her demeanor changed from night to day by violently attacking everything and anything, especially movement. I only feed her wild caught insects and I "believe" it was pestiside on a recent feeding.

I finally put her out of her misery after I saw "green ooze" come out of her abdomen and I knew something was wrong. So she went into a zip lock baggy and into the freezer for 15 min or so, then trash....pooo!

Anyone else have this experience? It's time to jump on the new Exo Terra NANO and by me a sub-adult or adult giant tropical species!

Could be old age if she was old. Otherwise there is no way to know.

Only a week or so into the adult molt.
