But we are not the only ones who get ear worms. I introduced my rather unmusical son, David, to "I wan't a hippopotamus for Christmas" while I was visiting him. Singing is not among his many accomplishments, but as we were driving back to Yuma, I heard him mumbling something under his breath about,

"Don't want crocodiles or rhinoceruseses. All I like are hippopotamusseses." I pretended not to hear!
