My majusculas aren't eating much, and even when they do, they sometimes throw-up. Right now, theyre L3 and most of them are really skinny and maybe eat 1 or 2 melanogasters per day. the others are fat. They also are scared of most prey that are bigger than the average ff and often don't do anything if a prey item walks right by them. Im worried because these guys are the only 6 mantises

I have and I don't want anything to happen to them. Can anyone please help? :surrender: :(

I know, but they don't eat anything larger, they're almost afraid to. I tried giving them a superworm half their size and they ran away from it. Only one of them actually is willing to tackle houseflies and things that size.

I tried that with superworms and they bit a little then wiped their mouths on the floor. I only got two of them to accept mealworms this way.My Giant Asians that I got form you rebecca, never had this problem. They tried to catch anything that moved. Idk why this is happening to my majusculas.

Many of my mantids did that and they died.

Ohh man... :(

Well I got one of the ones that arent eating to eat a fly that is between the size of a hydei and house fly but the rest are eating just a few ff per day.

Update: caught a few small moths outside, slightly smaller than housefly size, and tried giving those to the noneating ones. They ate! I think they just needed some more variety in their diet, but thats odd, cause they wouldn't even eat small superworms.
