Hey guys! Mated my egyptian mio's on saturday. Clover was reluctant but Godfrey's persistence payed off.

They were at it for 2 hours and 40 minutes!

And I understand that inbreeding has shown no valid results suggesting negative effects?

Just double checking. I hear a good few people have had no issues with inbreeding.

Anyways this was my first attempt, and time mating mantids! Now I will wait for the oothecas . . .

( expect frequent topic posts and questions on maintaining the eggs, Im still a n00by )

Gorgeous aren't they?

( Is that red blemish on godfrey something to be concerned about ? )

Congratulations! These guys were THEE easiest species for me to mate thus far.. I think that if anyone on this forum were having a ton of trouble mating their mantids, this species right here would raise their self esteem right back up!
