elderly creo question

my gal creo is old for sure, her sister has already passed a couple of weeks ago. and today i notice my gal has been going in circles in her enclosure and also freaking out like something is attacking her.... im wondering if it would be suggested just to go ahead and freeze her?

Its up to you.. maybe she'll get past this 'insanity' ...maybe not... hope she gets better though

That is if they actually feel pain like us, which we don't know.

I would suggest freezing only when she clearly isn't capable of moving anymore and starts having seizures. Basically, before the final and seemingly most painful phase of their death. Just to prevent from killing a mantis while it could maybe have lived a little while longer.

i ended up freezing her, she was going freakin crazy. she was making so much noise spazing out inside her enclosure the cats were starting to gain an interest.... plus it was making me sad to see

actually she didnt, but her sister did. she wasnt ready for the boy while he was alive

this is my first time as well. the craziest ive seen one of my mantids do is chew on a sponge, and she is also very old

I find unmated creos often live longer but refuse to lay infertile ooths

she laid just as many infertile ooths as her sister's fertile ooths. but she lived a couple weeks longer than the other
