European mantis ooth removal!

Ok so my European mantis laid the biggest ooth I've ever seen, 3 inches long! Pretty much bigger than her! So it's on the lid of the critter keeper with the top end attached to the part on the side so I don't know how To remove it... Any tips?

I wait until it is dried out all the way. Then I peal it off carefully with my hand. It might not be hard at all.
