I'm surprised that it survived the tongs. I'd never pick a mantis up like that.That "let's try to save it's life" caption is wishful thinking. I find it hard to believe the a mantis will recover from having all that inside.

WORDY!over the summer I kept my fairy shrimps in a large tank outside in my grasshopper-infested yard
well, several Gordius species showed up in that tank of water (I have them preserved in vials somewhere around here...)
