My female started laying eggs the other day. Right now she has laid 3, but she is huge. I am assuming she will lay more. I have read up alittle on what to do, but any advice would be helpful or rearing these eggs. It is really strange to me that she is able to lay eggs without a male, but evolution is a cool thing.

Anyway thanks in advance for any help

Tony

Well, really tiny tiny chance it'll hatch, but if you want to take care of it as if it's fertile, keep it in the same condition as the adult mantis and spray it every other day or so.

If it was produced parthenogenetically then it will hatch in around 9-12 months. If it was fertilized, then I think its something like 4 months.

Correct me if I'm wrong. I haven't actually hatched ova of this species before.

As for incubation, well...warm and humid I think. Mold can be a problem sometimes from what I understand.
