I never cared for social networking sites, but awhile back I did get on Facebook. I was absolutely amazed at the number of old friends and military buddies I found on there. So yeah I am on there, but generally don't add anyone I don't personally know.

My husband has been on that site lately. He hooked up with family and friends. I tried it a while back when a relative said that they were putting family photos that included my daughter and I. But all I got was some friend of theirs that had a half naked photo of himself on there.

I don't even know who he is! Needles to say, I stopped visiting that site, but I probably have an inactive account for it. I am no good at computer stuff. The mantid forum is the only place that I have ever communicated with others, via the internet. I guess I am kind of old fashioned. :lol:

hmmmm... last I checked going on facebook was normal and going on the praying mantid forum to talk about phyllocrania paradoxas and pseudocreobotra wahlbergii and the like was dorky.

. At least that's how it works at my high school...

Hahaha same here. Especially when school events are posted on facebook. Kids say, "it was on facebook." And I'm thinking "put it on the mantid forum, then I'll read it."
